Tour Overview

Blow your imagination and see if you want to see, one of the heaviest diamonds of all periods, the largest mud city on the earth, the remains of one of the oldest civilizations of the history besides the biggest city square of the world, all together just in 11 days?! 1st Day: Tehran (Arrival Day)

Arrive Tehran, meet & transfer to the hotel. After lunch, visit to the Crown Jewels & Carpet museums and Golestan Palace. O/Night Tehran.

2nd Day: Tehran – Shiraz

Full day tour of Tehran visiting the Archaeological, Glass & Ceramic and Reza Abbasi Museums. See  Saad Abad palace and Imam Khomeini’s residence in Jamaran. Evening flight to Shiraz ,O/night Shiraz.

3rd Day: Shiraz – Passargadae – Perspolis – Shiraz
Full day excursion to Passargadae (the burial place of Cyrus the Great-the Achamenian King), Persepolis, Naqsh-e-Rostam and Naqsh-e-Rajab. O/night Shiraz.

4th Day: Shiraz

Full day tour of Shiraz visiting Eram garden, the tombs of Hafiz  and Saadi (the most prominent Persian poets) Narenjestan Museum, Nassirolmolk mosque, Afif Abad garden (military museum), and the old covered bazaar of Vakil.  O/night Shiraz.

5th Day: Shiraz – Yasouj

A scenic drive to Yasouj. This area is near the Zagros Mountain ranges and home for the second largest nomadic tribal people The Qashkaei. Explore the region visiting the nomads at their tents. O/night at tents near the nomad camp.

6th Day: Yasouj

All day viewing the breathtaking nature dotted with the nomadic tents and flocks (in April almost all plains and valleys are filled with wild flowers especially with the Hanging Tulips). O/night at tents.

7th Day: Yasouj – Shahre Kord

Drive to Bakhtiari nomad area (the most enduring nomads of Iran).  After locating the tents of the nomads – we will continue to the city to overnight.

8th Day: Shahre Kord

Drive to the nomad settlements. Rest of the day exploring the life style of Bakhtiari people. O/night at tents.

9th Day: Shahre Kord

All day with nomads and excursion to the surrounding wild areas followed by a visit to the world’s purest drinkable mineral water in Cheshme Dimeh. O/night at tents.

10th Day: Shahre Kurd – Isfahan – Chalous

Drive to Isfahan to take the flight to Tehran. Immediate drive to Chalous through one of the world’s most beautiful mountain roads.  O/night Chalous.

11th Day: Chalous

Morning telecabin ride which traverses through a breathtaking jungle overlooking the majestic Caspian Sea. Afternoon free at leisure.  O/night Chalous.

12th Day: Chalous – Anzali

Fringe the Caspian coastline towards west through the beautiful cities of Ramsar (the bride of the north) and Lahijan – famous for its tea plantation fields and special cookies. O/night.

13th Day: Anzali

Morning boat ride on the Lagoon of Anzali (one of the top 10 lagoons of the world renowned for its fauna); visit the fish and fruit market and the caviar processing factory. O/night.

14th Day: Anzali – Masouleh – Rasht

Excursion to the UNESCO designated village of Masouleh where the yard of a house is the roof of another. Continue to Rasht. O/Night Rasht.

15th Day: Rasht – Qazvin – Tehran

A scenic drive to Tehran via Rasht and Qazvin which once was the capital of Iran and gateway to west. Arrive Tehran, rest of the day at leisure. O/night Tehran. (farewell dinner at a typical restaurant)

16th Day: Tehran (Departure Day)

Transfer to airport, flight back home (if you have time, can see other Tehran attractions).
